Typically private bookings are two hours but can be customized to be extended for larger parties. We also have Walk-in rates when targets and coaches are available. Walk-in rates are 2 hour =$25, 1 hour = $15, and 1/2 hour $10 plus taxes.

We do not have a minimum or maximum age. Our axe coaches assess your strength and ability to throw the axe on site. If they feel you cannot safely throw an axe they will deem you unfit to participate. People under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a legal guardian who will sign their waiver on site.

We run leagues throughout the year. Our leagues are seven weeks plus playoffs. It is $120 per person plus tax. All players must have their own NATF approved axe. Northern Axperts has axes for sale for $25 + HST. We will be accepting only 30 people per league. You can register as an individual for our current league by clicking below: GAMES EVERY TUESDAY (Only 30 Spots Available)

We encourage you to book minimums we can add throwers closer date once your guests have confirmed. All sales are final with no refunds. However, you will be able to reschedule your visit as long as you give us a ring at least 7 days out!

Yes. But everyone in our facility must sign a waiver before entering.

Open throw is a public walk-in time, you will not have a guaranteed time slot or private throwing area and coach. During these open throw sessions guests share the equipment and space (similar to a public gym) with other participants. Axe coaches are able to help guide you on site. Open throw is $15 per person. Payments for these sessions are to be made on site.

Yes bragging rights for being an Axpert! We also have merch available soon for purchase which will includes t-shirts, hats, etc. and a small trophy. For group bookings we also offer winner certificates free of charge!

No, no one ever cancels!

For the two-hour axe experience, our minimum throwers for bookings is 4 throwers on Sunday-Thursday and a minimum of 6 on Friday-Saturday after 6 pm. You can bring up to 16 throwers with this booking, extra guests can be added by emailing booking@northernaxperts.com. For groups larger than 16 and require the full lounge with 2 coaches we require payment of $500 plus tax you can bring 24 guests with this booking. We can customize & accommodate larger party’s over 24 Throwers. Walk-ins are always welcome at our lounges if we have a coach available and lanes open you can play for 30mins to 2 hours, 1st come 1st served.

We recommend wearing a loose-fitting shirt that allows your arms to move freely. Closed-toed shoes are mandatory. Crocs, softer constructed shoes (like Toms, etc.), and high heels are strongly discouraged.

No. Northern Axperts provides all necessary equipment.

No. Our partners have a full menu available on site for food and beverages. We do, however, allow a birthday cake to be brought on site. Contact Wacky Wings for catering options for Sudbury and Thunder Bay.

Yes. But all persons under the age of 18 must be accompanied by their guardian at all times. A waiver must also be signed by the guardian for the underage person. No one under the age of 19 is allowed after 6 pm.

That is at the discretion of the participant. Always consult your doctor before participating in a physical sport.

Generally, customers do tip when they are pleased with their event. Gratuities are always appreciated by the axe coach, but they are not expected.
